WELL feasibility and gap assessment

Before you register a WELL project, find out which level your space can realistically reach, what it will cost and who has to do what. For occupiers, landlords and portfolio teams deciding whether to pursue WELL.

Who this is for

  • Heads of workplace and real estate deciding whether to pursue WELL
  • ESG leads who need a credible healthy-building commitment
  • Project managers planning a new fit-out or refurbishment
  • Landlords and developers comparing WELL with other ratings

How this fits our independence policy

WELL advisory can be combined. You can engage us for the feasibility assessment, the indoor air quality audit and certification support together. The independent checks come from on-site testing by an approved Performance Testing Provider and from IWBI's project review.

Frequently asked questions

Is a feasibility assessment the same as registering for WELL?

No. Registration with IWBI is a separate step. The feasibility assessment tells you whether registering makes sense and at what level.

Do you measure air quality as part of the assessment?

Only if you add our indoor air quality audit. A measured baseline makes the scorecard more reliable, especially for the Air and Thermal Comfort concepts.

Can the assessment cover several offices?

Yes. We assess a representative sample of sites and model the portfolio, which is the usual starting point for WELL at scale.

Does the assessment commit us to certification?

No. It is a decision tool. Many clients use it to decide which features to adopt whether or not they certify.

Can the same team take us through certification?

Yes. For WELL, one Wellcerts team can carry you from the feasibility assessment to award. The independent checks are performance testing by an approved provider and IWBI's project review.
