Assessment and implementation across workplace health, EHS, ESG and social compliance

We assess facilities and supply chains against the standards your customers and regulators require, and build the systems that close the gaps. India, UAE, EU, USA, China, Indonesia, Malaysia.

WELL certification is a tool, not an end goal. We focus on the features and systems that will have the most impact for your organisation, rather than pursuing certification for its own sake.

What we do

Four disciplines, one evidence base

Workplace health, EHS, ESG disclosure and supply chain social compliance share most of their evidence. We work across all four so your teams answer each question once.

Workplace health

What a healthier workplace looks like in practice

WELL v2 is organised into ten concepts, from Air and Light to Movement and Mind. These are the features we most often help enterprise offices get right, and the concept each one serves.

Movement

Ergonomic workstations

Adjustable desks, task chairs and monitor arms that let people change posture through the day.

Community

Collaboration spaces

Shared tables and soft seating sized for the way teams actually meet.

Sound

Focus zones

Enclosed booths with acoustic treatment for work that needs quiet.

Wellness lounge with soft seating, planting, warm lighting and a calming wall graphic, set apart from the open-plan office
Mind

Wellness areas

Restorative space away from desks for a short break during the day.

Movement

Sit-stand working

Height-adjustable desks so standing is a normal part of the working day.

Daylit office walkway lined with planters and built-in seating, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking trees
Mind · Light

Greener workplaces

Planting, daylight and views to nature built into circulation routes.

The integrated assessment

One site visit. Four standards.

Most enterprise sites are visited several times a year by different teams asking for the same evidence. We plan one mobilisation, collect the evidence once and report it against every standard that applies to the site.

One mobilisationSite walk, document review, worker and manager interviews, instrument readings
  • WELLFeature-by-feature gap register
  • EHSStatutory compliance findings
  • ESGBRSR Core and GHG evidence file
  • Supply chainSocial assessment report

  2. StrategyWhich requirements to target first, who owns each one and what it will cost.
  3. ImplementationSystems, documents and physical changes that close the gaps.
  4. VerificationEvidence checked against the standard before the certifier or assurer arrives.

Independence

We assess, or we implement. We never audit what we built.

An assessment is only useful if the people who wrote it did not also build what they are assessing. Our two-track model keeps the two apart for every audit, assurance readiness test and supplier assessment we carry out.

Track A

Assurance

Independent assessment of where you stand against a standard.

  • EHS statutory compliance audits
  • Supplier social assessments
  • Forced labour due diligence
  • Occupational exposure monitoring
  • BRSR Core readiness testing
Track B

Implementation

We build what closes the gaps.

  • ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
  • CAPA close-out and remediation
  • GHG inventories
  • ESG data architecture and controls
  • Grievance mechanisms and recruitment fee remediation
  1. One client, one trackper standard, for every audit and assessment
  2. Separate peoplenamed in the engagement letter
  3. Disclosed in writingat proposal stage
  4. Separate legal entitiesonce volume justifies it

WELL works differently. IWBI reviews every project and an approved testing provider tests the space, so one Wellcerts team can take you from feasibility to award.

How we keep our assessments independent

Where we work

Seven markets, one methodology

Buyer markets set the rules and the Asian supply base has to evidence them. We work on both ends.

India

SEBI BRSR Core

Assessment or assurance of nine Core attributes reaches the full top 1,000 listed entities in FY 2026–27.

UAE

Federal Decree-Law 11/2024

The Climate Law requires entities to measure, report and reduce emissions, with fines of AED 50,000 to 2,000,000. It applies in free zones.

European Union

Forced Labour Regulation

Applies from 14 December 2027, with no company size threshold, and reaches non-EU suppliers.

United States

UFLPA · CTPAT

Goods with a Xinjiang nexus face a rebuttable presumption at the border. Clearing a detention needs a traceability evidence package.

China

US import exposure

For US-bound goods, traceability evidence, not inspection, is the binding constraint.

Indonesia

Deforestation and labour

Palm oil and derived commodities bring deforestation diligence alongside labour scope.

Malaysia

Recruitment fees

Migrant labour and recruitment fees are the first question buyers ask of Malaysian suppliers.

Regulatory dates

Deadlines and thresholds change. Each market page carries its own verification date.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Wellcerts issue WELL, ISO or SA8000 certification?

No. Certification is issued by each scheme's own approved bodies: IWBI and GBCI for WELL, accredited certification bodies for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and SAAS-accredited bodies for SA8000. We assess your readiness and build the systems that close the gaps, so you are ready when the certifier arrives.

How do you keep your assessments independent?

For every audit, assurance readiness test and supplier assessment, we assess or we implement, but never both on the same standard for the same client. The people on each track are named in the engagement letter, and the arrangement is disclosed in writing at proposal stage. WELL is the exception: IWBI reviews every project and an approved Performance Testing Provider tests the space, so we can support you from feasibility assessment to award.

Which countries does Wellcerts work in?

India, the UAE, the European Union, the United States, China, Indonesia and Malaysia. We are based in Bengaluru.

Does BRSR Core assurance apply to my company?

SEBI's BRSR Core requires assessment or assurance of nine Core attributes, and the requirement reaches the full top 1,000 listed entities in FY 2026–27. We test your evidence attribute by attribute before the assurer does.

Can one site visit cover several standards?

Yes. An integrated assessment collects evidence once during a single mobilisation and reports it against each standard that applies to the site: WELL, EHS, ESG disclosure and social compliance.

What happens on a scoping call?

We confirm which standards and markets apply to your sites, what you need to receive and by when. We then send a written scope that lists the deliverables.
