CAPA close-out and audit remediation

Failed a buyer audit? We find the root cause of each finding, fix it with your team, and assemble the evidence your buyer and the follow-up auditor will accept, planned back from your buyer's deadline.

Who this is for

  • Factory owners and plant heads after a failed or conditional social audit
  • Sourcing and compliance managers at brands with suppliers on a corrective action plan
  • Exporters facing a buyer deadline, an order hold or a suspension
  • Sites preparing for a follow-up audit under SA8000, amfori BSCI, WRAP, RBA or SLCP

What we need to start

  • The audit report and the corrective action plan issued by the auditor
  • Your buyer's deadline and any conditions on continued orders
  • A named site contact with authority to make changes

What we do

  1. Triage the audit reportClassify every finding by severity and by the deadline your buyer has set for it.
  2. Find the root causeFor each finding, establish why it happened, not only what was observed, so it does not recur at the next audit.
  3. Agree corrective and preventive actionsOne owner, one action and one due date per finding, covering policy, process, physical and training fixes.
  4. Support implementation on siteWage and hours records, fire safety, PPE, worker communication and grievance channels, worked through with your team.
  5. Build the evidence packsDated photographs, records, training registers and signed policies, indexed to each finding in the audit report.
  6. Prepare for the follow-up auditA readiness check before the auditor returns, and clear status reporting to your buyer if you want it.

What you receive

  • A CAPA register: finding, root cause, action, owner, due date and status
  • An evidence pack for each finding, indexed to the audit report
  • A root cause summary you can share with your buyer
  • Updated policies and procedures where the finding was a system gap
  • Worker and supervisor training records
  • A readiness note before the follow-up audit
  • A weekly status update for you, and for your buyer if you choose

Follow-up audits are carried out by each scheme's approved auditors. Because we remediate your site, we do not assess it against the same standard. That keeps your follow-up result credible with your buyer.

Frequently asked questions

Can you guarantee we pass the follow-up audit?

No. The follow-up result is the auditor's decision. We make sure every finding has a root cause, a completed action and evidence the auditor can verify.

Can you also carry out the follow-up audit?

No. Because we remediate your site, we do not assess it against the same standard. The follow-up audit is carried out by the scheme or buyer-approved auditor.

Which audit schemes do you remediate against?

SA8000, amfori BSCI, WRAP, RBA, SLCP and Higg FSLM, as well as buyer codes of conduct.

Do you work with the buyer or with the factory?

Either. Brands engage us to remediate suppliers, and factories engage us directly. We can report status to the buyer if you choose.

What do you need from us to start?

The audit report, the corrective action plan issued by the auditor, your buyer deadline and a named site contact with authority to make changes.
